HARRINGTON,
Looking for information on my g-g-grandfather THOMAS HARRINGTON born 1787 SC. He is thought to be the one living in 1810 Amite Co, Mississippi. One of his descendants told me that family oral history said that he lived for a couple of years in or near EMERSON, Arkansas. Since he was living in Marion/Lawrence Co, MS in the latter 1820's, my research would tend to indicate that the most likely time frame for him to have been in EMERSON, Columbia Co, Arkansas, would have been around 1820-1823. Thomas's first wife's name is unknown. Census information tends to indicate he had several daughters. Possible names for these daughters may be Nancy, Milly, and Julie. His first known son was William born 1817 MS. Possible allied names are/maybe BUCKELEIU, PRICE, WHITE, TARVER. Contact Sharon Herrington sharonh@e-tex.com
