Bill I don't have enough time to work a lot with a home page but have a lot of material of connected families in the Lafayette Co., AR area and adjoining Bossier Parish LA. Some of families werethe first 89 families to come into Lafayette , about 1854 and settled in the ROAN Twp. The names are POCKRUS, and related families of COCHRAN, BARNETTE, WALDROPS, BOGGS,WHEELER, EVANS,GORES,MC Knight, Godwin.Madden,Fiff, Kilgore,Byrum, Brown, Ross ,Fugate, DeSpain, McMahan, Covington, MALONE, I will gladly share this material with others if you want to put them in Lafayette Co.AR. The main lines that are followed back are the ones in Large Print.
