DNA of this line is in GROUP 3
This DNA is not matching up where it is suppost to. but Calvin Dorris has Deeds that do prove that this is the John That Was the son of James and Mary. On 27 day of January 1841 Rachel Couch Relinquish all her Interest and Estate and also all her right and claim of dower and was listed as wife of John. This was for Property that John Couch sold To Joshua Saxton listing other brothers and sister of John. Now we got to figure out Why the DNA is not matching. We need to find another Descendant to take the test that is not Closlely related to the other DNA . (BC) There was a Nathan Couch in Campbell Co.GA with this John, Because of the first DNA I was thinking it was the Nathan from Meshack Line who was there before going to Missouri. But if so no other members of Meshack line ever went south. After Calvin findings I now beleive this Nathan was the Nathan Couch that ended up in Cherokee Co. Alabama. He was also in Coweta County and Franklin Co. Ga. He is listed in Laurens County with a John but at the time I beleive this John was too young to be on that document in 1815. James Couch is listed on other documents with some of the same people that Nathan was with.
