I, Kinchin Rambo, for the satisfaction of myself and others who may survive me, have undertaken to keep a record of such acts of my ministerial life, as Ordinations, Baptisms, Constitutions, Marriages, etc. I was baptised Nov. the 3rd Sabbath 1826.

In April 14, 1832, I was licensed to preach.

April 20, 1833 I was ordained in Redland church by Anselm Anthony, Mitchell Bennett, Jeremiah Reeves, Edwin Dyer and John Bankston, presbytery.

In December previous I was called by the church at Alcova as a supply. I accepted the call.

June 15, 1833 I and wife obtained letters of dismission from Redland church.

June 22, 1833. I assisted in the ordination of Br. Butler as a Deacon, at Ebenezer, in DeKalb.

May 25, 1833. I assisted in constituting the church at Friendship.

July 13, 1833. I and wife joined Alcova ch. by letter.

Sept. 8, 1833. I baptised Joshua Hill and Martha Dodd.

Sept. 14, 1833. I assisted in the ordination of Wm. Bailey to the ministry, at Haynes Cr(eek).

1833 I assisted in the ordination of Br. Berry Atwood, a Deacon, at Redland.

Oct. 13, 1833. I married W. C. Johnson & Epsy Waters.

Nov. 12, 1833. I married W. H. Houghton & E. A. Bennett.

Jany. 8, 1834 I assisted in constituting a church at New Hope in this county with liberty to remove to the wilderness of Alabama.

Feb. 14, 1834. I assisted in the ordination of Br. Willis C. Norris to the ministry, Apalchy.

Feb. 14, 1834. I assisted in the ordination of Br. Cullins, a Deacon at Apalchy.

Feb. 15, 1834. I assisted in the ordination of Br. A. (or H.?) Hurst, a Deacon at Haynes Cr(eek).

Aug. 1, 1834. I assisted in the constitution of a church at Union Grove, Newton County.

April 4, 1835. I assisted in the ordination of Bro. Absolem Duncan as a deacon at New Hope, Gwinnett.

April 18, 1835. I visited the church at Hardman's in DeKalb at their request and again to supply them the balance of the year.

Note. Churches commonly choose their Ministers annually. Alcova and Friendship renewed their call this year. I accepted it.

June 29, 1835. I assisted in ordaining Br. Sam'l. Scott, a deacon for the Church at Bethel.

July lst, 1835. I married Geo. L. Black to Mary J. Jones of DeKalb Co.

July 16th, 1835. I married John M. C. Davany & Hannah Powell.

July 18, 1835. I baptised (name?),a black woman, the property of Charles J. Hooper... at Hardman's (Prim. Bapt. Church, DeKalb Co.)

Aug. 23, 1835. I baptised Harrison Arnold & Washington Waters at Friendship.

Sept. 24, 1835. (on Thursday) I baptised Wm. Weed at Friendship.

Oct. 18, 1835. I baptised Sis Goram & a black sister, the property of Mrs. Peaty at Hardmans.

Jany. 23, 1836. I married Benj. Watsan to Rebecca Dutton (Saturday evening).

I again was called upon & agreed to serve the church at Alcova this year.

April 3rd, 1836. I married Philip A. Lamar to Carolin D. Medlin.

In the fall of 1836, I was elected Clerk of the Yellow River Assn.

In 1837, I was called to supply Alcova Church and the church at Friendship and also the church at Mount Salem in Hall Co. I accepted the calls.

I was called to supply the church at Hardmans but I declined acceptance.

Aug. 22nd, 1837. I assisted in the ordination of two Deacons at Bethlehem, Gwinnett, viz. Bro. James Mayfield and Boyce Eitson.

Oct. 19, 1837. I married Richard Coker and Elizabeth H. C. Prior of Birch (Beech?) Island, S.C.

I was again elected clerk of the Yellow River Association in 1837.

I was called this year to supply the church at Alcova, Friendship, Haynes Creek and Sewanee. I could not accept the calls of the last two.

February 8, 1838. I married William A. Plummer & Sophronia Chism.

1876 A remarkably warm winter--only two or three little cold snaps--

plumb trees in bloom at Christmas and peach trees in February--About the middle of March very cold and windy- particularly the 17th 18th and 19th day and night. The 20th Ground covered with Snow about 4 inches deep--21st Heavy freeze--Snow Still on the

ground. And peaches nearly all killed for once in March.
